Ikeja DFA Super League: Magboro, Bucknor Close To Super Four

Magboro Football Club just need a win out of their two remaining matches to book a place in the super four of the ongoing Ikeja Divisional Football Super League.

Magboro, who are not favourites at the beginning of the league, proved the bookmakers wrong with their impressive performance in both home and away matches.

Magboro next game is against Future Pro FC at Magboro ground.A win against their opponents would confirm their place in the super four. Magboro would play their last match at away against Crowned Academy. The league is abridged and divided into two groups.

Magboro are in Group B and the best two in each group would play super four to determine the real champions of the league.

Coach of Magboro, Shobola Ganiu Abayomi boasted that they can win their remaining two matches but noted that the team just need a win to clinch one of the best two teams in Group B to reach the super four of the league.

“We have done well in the league.We are in the mood of celebration of super four already.What we need in our remaining two matches is three points which I believe we can get more than that,”he said.

Meanwhile Bucknor Football Club need to win their remaining two matches to bright their chances in Group A. Currently, they are in the third position in Group A table.

Team manager of Bucknor, Abidemi said his team still have a chance to qualify for the super four if they can win their remaining matches.
