Ibeju-Lekki Council Football Poll: Ex COD Director, Akinmoyo Promises Football Development

Former Sporting Director of defunct COD United Football Club, Victor Akinmoyo has expressed confidence that he would be elected as chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Football Council.

Akinmoyo disclosed this while chatting with our correspondent over the weekend that, having spent more than a decade in football administration and management, he has what it takes to become the next chairman of Ibeju-Lekki football council.

The football elections would be conducted into 20 local government council of Lagos on Monday by 11am at the sports bar of Teslim Balogun Stadium.

The football administrator said he is not afraid of any candidate and urged the delegates to vote for him in order to bring football development to Ibeju-Lekki and its environs.

“I am coming out to develop football in Ibeju-Lekki and take it to the next level.Aside this, i want to make Ibeju-Lekki a place where talents would be discovered,nurtured to stardom.There are many talents in Ibeju-Lekki but a leader like me can use the wealth of experience to turn things around if i am elected.

“Let me use this medium to reach out to all the delegates to vote wisely and they should vote for transparency, accountability, humanity, accessibility and good governance. What I am saying in the essence is that Akinmoyo is the candidate that possesses all these qualities and i promise not to disappoint them,” he said.
