On Thursday, the African Boxing Ambassador, Nigerian Bashiru Lawrence Ali (OON), was hosted by the Canadian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ambassador Jamie Christoff, at the High Commission of Canada in Abuja to discuss matters on business and the world boxing project.
Ali, fondly called Bash Ali by his teeming admirers, led some members of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Guinness World Boxing Championship Fight to meet with Ambassador Christoff, who welcomed the World Boxing Federation (WBF) cruiserweight champion to the High Commission and after the meeting took various photographs with his guests.
The Guinness World Record Championship is coming very soon for the first time on the soil of Africa in Nigeria.
