The Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, Minister of State for Transportation, Barrister Ademola Adegoroye and traditional rulers among other dignitaries will on Saturday April 1 commission a well-equipped 50 bedded multi-special hospital and diagnostics centre (Deborah Multi-Special Hospital and Diagnostic Center)in Akure.
Deborah Multi-Special Hospital and Diagnostic Center, located at KM 5 Akure Owo express road Oba-ile, Akure, Ondo state, will be commissioned under the chairmanship of Prof Abdulsalami Nasidi, Executive chairman Reach Care Foundation, RCF, Nigeria and former Director General Nigeria Centre for Disease control (NCDC).
According to the Directorate and management of the centre, Governor Akeredolu will be the special guest of honour at the event while His Imperial Majesty, Dr Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye 111, the Olowo of Owo Kingdom and His Imperial Majesty, Oba Agunbiade Otutubiosun 111, the Oloba of Oba-Ile will be the Royal Fathers of the day.
Speaking ahead of the epoch-making event, the CEO/founder Deborah Multi-Special Hospital and Diagnostic Center, Chief (Mrs) Remilekun Mulikat Ibidapo, said her urge to make an effective contribution on health care informed her decision to build the magnificent hospital in Akure.
“The concept genuinely started with my curiosity and my passion for my profession as an American trained practicing nurse in New Jersey and interest and love for my race and people,” Chief (Mrs) Ibidapo said.
She added: “It happens that each time I am on inter-continental travelling, I discovered a great number of Nigerian medical tourists going in search for treatments in overseas countries. I do consider the pains, agony, time, risks, costs, backwardness and benefits of nearness to quality and qualitative adequate health care. This bothers me a lot! The urge to make an effective contribution on health care touches my heart.”
However, the chairman Deborah Multi-Special Hospital and Diagnostic Center, Prince Rotimi Benjami Ibidapo (OON) said the hospital is well equipped with modern day facilities with best consultants, insisting that Nigerians will enjoy best of treatment at the centre.
He also revealed that the centre has a good partnership with best hospitals in europe.
