Chairman of 316sports management, Scrow Ogbonnaya has disclosed that his sports outfit is committed to manage, nurture, mentor the four players selected at the recent three days football trials held in Ikorodu
The 316sports management organised football trials within ages of 17 to 20 and more than 50 players within and outside Ikorodu attended the football trials witnessed by coaches.
After the three days trials, the coaching crew selected good four players that were presented to the sports management outfit.
The four selected players are Subair Ahmed Semilore (defender) Oyegunle Muiz (midfielder) Salami Olawale (midfielder) and Ogoyah Richard (striker)
At the official unveiling of the players held recently in Ikorodu, Ogbonnaya expressed gratitude to God and appreciated the coaching crew who had done a thorough job to select outstanding players among many at the trials.
Addressing the Journalists, the sports philanthropist said the 316sports management is committed to give the players best of treatment and ensure that the players are marketable to Nigerian and foreign clubs in the nearest future.
“We are not running a football club particularly but we are 316sports management saddled with the responsibility of developing, managing, mentoring and nurturing the players to stardom.
“We have some football clubs we partner with and we are going to send these players to them and also if there are scouting programmes we are invited, we would send our players to participate in the trials.Like i said before our job is to monitor their progress, performances and particularly to look into their welfare.
“Aside this,once they acquire needed training and mature enough, we would also do a video clip about them and send it to our football scouts within and outside the country for assessment.If they show interest in any one of them, nothing we can do than to allow them to sign with the interested clubs,”he said.
Some of the players who spoke to Journalists expressed joy with the contract they signed with the management and promised that they would give their best to attract clubs within and outside the country.
Subair Ahmed Semilore, one of the four players revealed that he is best form of his life and ready to give his best during the training, competitions or scouting programmes.
Also in attendance are board of management such as Damilare Jaiye,Ayoleyi Ayejin,Abiye Idowu and Ekala Jeremiah, coaches, players, refrees and other football stakeholders.
