The presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is getting more support by the day as the 25 February election draws closer.
While the Bash Fans Club of Nigeria (BAFCON) had recently declared its total support for the actualisation of the ambition of former Governor of Lagos State to rule Nigeria, the National President of the fans club, Comrade Ayorinde Oshin is leaving nothing to chance to ensure that they indeed make good the promise of the fans club.
On Tuesday, Comrade Oshin led some of the executives of the fans club to pay a working visit to Mr Fola Tinubu, the Managing Director of Primero Transport Services Limited (Operator of Lagos BRT buses from Ikorodu to CMS) in a bid to intimate him of their programs and to seek his support in actualising their plan for Tinubu.
They were at the 71 Awolowo Way Ikeja, Lagos office of Mr Fola Tinubu who wholeheartedly welcome them to his office.
Comrade Oshin told their host that Bash Ali Fans Club believes in Tinubu and has been working without collecting one kobo from anybody, because “we believed in the vision and mission of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his ambition to become the next president after President Muhammad Buhari, GCFR.
“We know that Tinubu is the only one among the presidential candidates who can give Nigerians a renew hope and take the people out of poverty and sufferness.
‘We are so glad to see how Asiwaju received the African Boxing Ambassador, our own Bash Ali, OON and Comrade Ayorinde Oshin in Ado Ekiti during the All Progressive Congress (APC) campaign in Ekiti state.
“Our incoming president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged to perform and deliver in infrastructural development, qualitative health services, sound and good education with free scholarships for the masses, road constructions, provision of jobs for the youths, care for the old people, provision of water and electricity that will make foreign companies to come back to Nigeria, and more importantly, to build a ‘New Nigeria’.”
Comrade Oshin also told Mr Fola Tinubu that he as the president of Bash Ali Fans Club of Nigeria has mandated all the national coordinators across Nigeria to mobilise all the fans club members who are over 1.5 million in the six geo political zones of the country to cast their votes for Jagaban Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on 25 February for him to become next president of Nigeria.
Mr Fola Tinubu, while responding, thanked his guests for being part of the struggle which will see Asiwaju Tinubu winning the presidential election. He commended the Bash Ali Fans Club of Nigeria for doing a good job.
Banners of the campaign were pasted at the front wall of Mr Fola Tinubu’s office, while he was also decorated with the customised BAFCON T-shirt and face cap for Tinubu/Shettima campaign.
Meanwhile, some BAFCON banners were pasted at the Alausa Secretariat, the seat of the Government of Lagos State and the Governor’s Office on Tuesday to support Asiwaju Tinubu’s presidential ambition and the second term and re-election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy Obafemi Hamzat.
Some of the National Executives who joined Comrade Oshin on the visit to Mr Fola Tinubu’s office were Comrade Adefela Adubiaran, Comrade Adesenwa Adegoke, Comrade Adewale Ademoyegun.
