It was huge relief for top Egyptian premier league side Pyramid FC, as they were eventually able to sign Flying Eagles star forward Tolulope Ojo, who was the target of several top teams across the world on the last day of the January transfer window on a two and half years deal.
The Cairo based team which is currently placed 2nd on the premier league table was formed in 2008, and known then as Al Assiouty Sport in Beni Seuf, before it was bought and moved to Cairo in 2018.
According to local football experts, the move by highly rated youngster to the Egyptian league, is expected to be the launch pad for his further development and eventual transfer to the European football leagues.
Tolulope Samuel Ojo, who once donned the colours of NPFL side Remo Stars, scored 2 goals to help the Flying Eagles win the U-20 WAFU Cup last year.
He is expected to join the Flying Eagles, as they prepare to conquer Africa next month at the U-20 AFCON.
