The Lagos State Challenge Cup, popularly known as Lagos FA Cup draws, will hold on Tuesday, 17 March, 2026 at the Indoor Sports Hall of National Stadium,Surulere, Lagos.
In a press release put together by the Lagos State Football Association, LSFA, the much anticipated Lagos FA Cup draws hold next Tuesday by 10am after training session of media officers of the participating clubs.
Over 70 teams from male and female categories are expected to take part in this year’s Lagos FA Cup as teams are fully ready for the biggest annual football competition in the state.
Meanwhile the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) is implementing measures to enhance professionalism in football media management through a training session for Media Officers from the participating clubs. This initiative is designed to provide officers with the necessary skills to effectively promote their clubs and the LSFA.
In partnership with Cloud Sports Limited, the training will feature leading media professionals who will share their knowledge. It will address expectations during the FA Cup and strategies for maintaining positive media relations.
Clubs are expected to nominate one Media Officer to attend the training, which will emphasize the promotion of both the clubs and the LSFA through professional media practices.
The collaboration between the LSFA and Cloud Sports Limited aims to enhance football professionalism in Lagos. This training is part of broader efforts to elevate how clubs and competitions are showcased to the public.
This initiative underscores the LSFA’s dedication to advancing football in Lagos by training Media Officers, that are making an investment in the sport’s development.
