24–Year-Old Nigerian Female Boxer Breaks WBC World Record

Twenty four years old Nigeria female boxer, Elizabeth Oshoba, writes record as the first Nigerian female Boxer to win World Boxing Council (WBC) silver featherweight title by defeating Italian Michela Braga at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Oshoba Becomes First Nigerian Female Boxer To Win World Title

Elizabeth improved her record to 7 wins and 4 knockouts, while Michela lost the first fight of her career, leaving her with 6 wins and one loss.

Elizabeth showed her best boxing and quality, dominating Braga from start to finish

The Judges’ scores were 88-82, 87-83 and 90-80, all in favor of Oshoba.
