Head Coach of Dosu Football Club of Ikeja, Kayode Agboola has expressed disappointment following the 1-1 played against Emiloju FC in their opening group match in the ongoing 1XBET Community Cup whick kicked off on Tuesday at the Cappa playground, Oshodi, Lagos.
Wasiu Ibrahim scored early goal for Dosu boys before Emiloju got their equaliser in the early second half as both teams shared a point in the full time.
Speaking after the thrilling encounter, Agboola said he was disappointed that his team did not secure a victory in their opening group match and commended his players for a job well done.
“It was not a bad start but I am disappointed that we did not get the three points.Our opponents also gave us a good fight but unfortunately we did not leave the pitch with three points,”he said.
Agboola popularly known as Careca also admonished his players to put their first game behind them and focus on the remaining matches in the group.
“We are looking forward to our next game.It must be a a win for us and we are condemned to win our next game and failure to win our next match,we will put ourselves under severe pressure,”he said.
In other matches, Community Gunners shocked 36 Lion 1-0 while Ikorodu City FA pip Emaljus FC 1-0.
